Really loved your book and thank you for such prompt next day delivery - it was avidly read over Christmas by everyone even my 8 year old grandson sat and picked bits out to read and enjoy! I especially liked the honest way in which it was written and you did allay any worries we had about taking on a puppy in the future - something I was a bit nervous about.

Laurel sounds a very special girl and it is so lovely to know that we are not the only ones who ADORE staffies and their beautiful qualities. The love and friendship they give is unique and I would never consider another breed (even after having rescue bulldogs previously). Our old rescue staff died in August and I don't know how we would have ever got over it without our new 'old girl' Meg - she is as wonderful as her predecessor

Just to let you know I received the book today (many thanks) & can't wait to read it.

I am a bit of a devil for opening a new book and reading a paragraph from one of the last pages, then flicking towards the front & doing the same...........I did this with "Laurel" & have decided to save it to read on my holiday (we go 2 weeks saturday) as I have a distinct feeling I am going to need a few tissues!!!!!!!!!! - Jude
