My beautiful red staffie Monty brought your story for me for christmas.

I enjoyed it so much and will be reading it again this time to my 8 year old daughter.

I'm not sure who is the luckiest, you or your dad ? A love story in every sense and so well written. I almost feel like I know you both, the book was so personal and honest. I could relate to so many of your antics through my boy Monty who means the world to me.

I hope your legs aren't causing you to much pain and that you are happy and well. Give my love to Harri & Rosie and a special staffie kiss to your dad, Christine & Emma.

If your dad ever writes another book please let me know, I like his style !

hi steve, sorry its took me some time to get back to you to let you know what i think of your book, well, the only thing i can say is thankyou for writing such a wonderful book about our lovely breed! im so sorry about laurel,s health problems it must be heartbreaking for you! alot of what you said was very familiar to my own experience with having a stafford, especially with doing the (off lead) for the first time! i have to say i cried while reading your book, sometimes with happiness and sometimes with sadness, my first stafford was a foster that i looked after for a couple of months while his owner was found after then i was hooked on the breed, i then adopted a 11 month old male ( buster) a lovely dog, but sadly he died at nearly 2 years old in a silly accident that i think i could have avoided, i then got a female ( saphie) a lovely little girl that is very much like laurel she will be 2 on the 13th of next month, i got her at 9 weeks old, she is a wonderful dog and so special, six months ago i got a male stafford (gator) he is the reason i have been so busy! ive included a couple of pics for you to see my lovely dogs, pease send me an update on laurels health, thanks again for the book, janette,x

Hi Steve that is a great book you have there. Inever read books but I had a good read of yours and it is very good well done. If none of you have bought this book yet I would highly recommend it so get out there and buy it

Hi Steve sorry I haven got back to you sooner. I have read your book and found it a very good read. I am not much of a reader but when I started reading your book I couldn’t stop reading it. Anyway I just wanted to say thanks. How is laurel doing know with her back legs hope everything is going good. You should visit my forum more often and try and advertise it more cause I have been telling them all how good it is.
